開學給家長的一封信

親愛的家長您好：

首先感謝您給予我們最大的支持與鼓勵！國際部教學團隊在暑假經過無數的課程研發會議，在本計劃裡呈現本學期課程總表，老師將利用親師溝通管道等說明，邀請您和孩子進一步了解學校活動及課程，期盼您能參與這學期各項活動，不斷給老師支持與鼓勵，並響應各項教育活動。

本學期教學重點為：學業的繼續成長，自信的培養，加強與人互動的能力，以及閱讀興趣的養成。我們鼓勵6年級的孩子們做大量的自主閱讀。培養閱讀興趣對於孩子們往後的教育發展十分重要，因此我們把發現閱讀樂趣列為本學習的教學重點。

我們誠摯邀請家長和我們的孩子們一起享受學習的盛宴！

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your continuing support to our program. The International Preparatory Studies curriculum development team has spent its summer break working diligently on our curriculum.

         Grade 6 students will achieve much this year in terms of academic growth, greater self-confidence, improved social skills, and interest in reading. We do encourage a great deal of independent reading for pleasure with our Grade 6 students. Developing a love of reading is so important to a child’s educational future, and we view reading for pleasure as a priority.
